Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS on August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as the moderator and one of the first hosts on The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. The true passion of her life was writing, and she won an Emmy. The Talk, her outstanding talk show earned her an Emmy. Between 2002 and 2010 Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Her prior roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she was sent to Cairo and located the main hijacker's father for an intense and shocking interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. She also spoke with the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was an editor at WDTN TV Dayton located in Dayton, the state of Ohio (1995-1997). Prior to that, she worked as a reporter at ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news channel (1992-1995) and a desk-assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991), all while completing her final year of college at the University of Southern California. Her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains among the journalists she admires. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel to produce the Columbia du-Pont-winning program Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at events surrounding the Los Angeles riots of '92.
